This person must also have experience directing, coordinating, and reviewing all activities of the QC & OBA Inspectors to ensure the needs of internal and external Customers are being met.The schedule for this position is a Weekend Schedule; Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm PST, 3 days 12-hour shifts!JOB SUMMARYResponsible for managing employees and other supervisory duties including pay decisions, performance management and identifying key factors that can be improved.Identify and encourage individuals strengths while building and developing those needs on an ongoing basis.Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.Continuous improvement in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.Coordinate QC, and OBA shift coverage schedules to ensure best utilization of resources while keeping the employees best interest in mind.Provide appropriate training to the QC personnel based on the industry specifications and GD&T standards as well as customer specifications to ensure they are effective at minimizing escapes to the customer.Be able to fill in for the role of a QC inspector or OBA auditor when the need arises.Coordinate 5S audits.Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.Other duties that may be assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMust have at least 3 years of related experience at machine shops and has good understanding of a manufacturing environmentMust have at least 1 year of previous supervisory/management experience is requiredExperience working with Ziess CMM operations (Certification in Zeiss) or PC-DMIS strongly preferredMetrology experience is requiredUnderstands GD&T, Blueprint reading and measurement handheld toolsExperience in the semi-conductor other relevant industry standards and specifications is preferredMust be willing to work Weekends only.
