Project Manager NRTC is Member Driven and Technology Focused providing solutions that help our 1,500 electric and telephone members bring all the advantages of todays evolving technology to rural America. NRTCs solutions are developed specifically to meet the needs of rural utilities and their customers, and include integrated broadband, managed services, smart grid, mobile and video solutions. We are a dynamic, growing cooperative with more than 800 employees operating out of eight office locations. JOB SUMMARY: NRTC Broadband Solutions is looking for experienced Project Managers to join projects in the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest United States over the next couple of months. The NRTC Broadband Solutions Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all project resources and processes for multiple projects. Each project will typically include OSP Construction of both fiber optics and fixed wireless as well as Network Electronics, including Head-End installation and turn up. This position is responsible for accomplishing all phases of assigned projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, controlling/monitoring, and project close out to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role is the primary leader supporting the Member purchased project deliverable and will manage process, vendors, contracts, and intra company coordination on behalf of the Member. This position requires a high level of skill in working collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts with the goal of communicating and delivering on an overall project plan.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a Single Point of Contact for the Member Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure Members are provided with a hand off through each stage of a project; and that resources are in line with required support Drive project schedule and budget alignment; manage Member expectations and any required change orders Provide Project Reporting to the PMO Manager and Executive team as defined by the PMO Foster a culture of teamwork within Project Management and with other internal departments; closely align with all departments involved in the project including Business Development, Design, OSP Construction, Subject Matter Experts, Procurement, and Finance Run materials and construction RFPs for Members and Pulse Broadband Manage Vendor coordination and performance to support project budget and schedule Other related duties as assigned SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office & SmartSheet products Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications skills Ability to work under deadlines and deliver results on time Excellent organization skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks and deliver results within critical deadlines Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external customers KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in related technical discipline, or equivalent experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to travel as required Disclaimer: The above job description summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
