Job DescriptionProvides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. Please include this Job ID: 178760 in the subject line of the email.ResponsibilitiesThe ERP Senior Sales Engineer possesses advanced knowledge of Oracle ERP and/or competitor ERP software solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy. An ERP Sales Engineer interacts with new and existing customers through discovery conversations, product solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions to drive business. The ERP Engineer also provided training on a regular basis to sales teams and to Sales Engineering colleagues regarding ERP-related business processes and the corresponding Oracle software solutions.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively maintaining an in-depth of product knowledge in their designated product areas, includingcompetitive offeringsall solutions enabled by the productsportfolio of case studies of implementationslinks to development teamsinformation on future product developmentCreate, present and deliver meetings/presentations/seminars and events as requiredRespond to tenders, RFIs, RFPs, proposals with respect to product/solution informationUnderstand the needs and pains of the customer and then to link them to a set of products/solutions provided by OracleMaintain understanding and awareness of all relevant competitive products in the marketplace.Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior presentation skills in a multi-cultural environment.Ability to develop compelling business cases, with benefits and measurable metrics and value propositionsCreate and maintain relationships with key product stakeholders like Product Marketing, Development, Strategy, Partners, etc.Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to Functional Managers)Contributes to the achievement of a product/business unit target for North America Applications (e.g. US and Canada)SKILLS:Extensive professional experience in corporate financial close and reporting business processesExtensive professional experience in corporate financial planning and financial analysisExperience with ERP solutionsProficient with current and upcoming SaaS technologyAbility to work independently or in team environmentAbility to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlinesSelf motivated and able to work under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skillsProvides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed.
