Hudson Institute is seeking Fall 2022 interns to support the office of Ravenel B. Curry III Distinguished Fellow in Strategy and Statesmanship, Walter Russell Mead. Interns gain exposure to critical policy issues through research directed by their scholar, and spend time discussing these issues with their scholar. Onsite interns also attend weekly events featuring experts from Hudson Institute and across Washington, DC.Responsibilities include:Gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data for inclusion in reports and articles;Keeping the scholar up to date on current events related to his or her research;Assisting the scholar with research projects and presentations;Editing and conducting research for articles, op-eds, reports, and briefing papers;Assisting with administrative tasks and event support.Qualifications:Applicants should:Be current students working toward, or recent graduates holding, a degree in political science, international relations, economics, history, or related fields;Have a strong interest in economics, public policy, and/or the effect of emerging technologies on the American workforce and American politics;Possess strong research, writing, editing, and analytical capabilities, developed through relevant experience;Communicate effectively and possess good interpersonal skills;Manage their time wisely to independently complete work assignments;Be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications;Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability.How to Apply:Please upload a cover letter, resume, and short, relevant writing sample (2-3 pages) in a single .pdf file.
