Skilled Craftsman - Regional

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SKILLED CRAFTSMAN My position as a Skilled Craftsman is necessary to complete nationwide projects where sub-contractors are not available. My experience and knowledge of construction is critical to our success, and I am able to work with little to no supervision. I travel locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally up to 100% of the time as business needs dictate. I have my own hand tools and am proficient in rough & finish carpentry, Drywall Installation/finishing, punch list completion, Installation of drywall including tape and texture, Painting, and Installation of interior finishes such as trim, doors, and cabinets, Installation, and repairs to exterior finishes, I complete work orders for the daily work performed. I also oversee sub-contractors on the job site and work that needed to be completed. I always maintain a clean and safe job site and performed tasks involving physical labor at building and construction projects, and demolition sites. I am flexible to assist the team when needed on all service lines and load and unload all building materials, machinery, and tools, and make sure that all job sites are cleaned and prepared. I am available for emergency work after hours and on weekends and consider myself ''open'' 24/7, just like the restoration industry.QUALIFICATIONS:Proficient in Rough & Finish carpentryDrywall Installation/finishingPunch list completionPower tools will be provided, but all hand tools must be furnished by the applicantAble to work with little to no supervision5+ years in the construction industry preferredRestoration experience is preferred but will trainSPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Available for emergency work after hours and on weekends.
