This position supports the Department of Labor and the Office of Labor-Management Standards to modernize the Electronic Labor Organizational Reporting Systems (e.LORS). The objective is to replace the existing legacy systems with a modernized system. Personnel will provide Appian code-based information technology (IT) solutions, services, and data management for custom application development, operations, and maintenance to modernize the e.LORS mission support system onto the DOL Appian Case Management Platform (CMP). Location Remote Clearance Requirements * Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.* Requires successful completion of National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance.Essential Role and Responsibilities * Provide overall software development/configuration leadership for the project. * Assist the Contractor PM and Solutions Architect with the analysis, design, development and testing of applications to include integration of the legacy and new system to share data. * Review and verify implementation of applications according to design best practices, performance, and security. * Review and assist in planning and execution of data integration and migration activities. * Create and implement technical process modeling, user interface designs and data modeling. * Work closely with Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager (FPM) and Federal architect to fully understand the functional and technical requirements in the case management. * Actively participate and provide inputs in the major design decision. * Works closely with Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager (FPM) and Federal architect to fully understand the functional and technical requirements in the case management. * Actively participate and provide inputs in the major design decision. * Lead the development of secure, high quality, and high performing software system functionalities. * Ensure that the development team follows the best coding practice. * Help the development team to resolve technical questions. * Establish and maintain source code/configurations.Qualifications Education * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant discipline. A minimum of 4 years of work experience may be substituted for bachelor''s degree requirements.Experience * 7-10 years overall software development experience using Agile development tools and methodologies. * 5-7 years technical lead experience. * A deep knowledge of Appian software, including its integration capabilities and deployment options, and have an Appian A score of Level 3 Highest.* Experience explaining and presenting technical material to senior levels of the client organization.* At least 5 years of implementation and administration experience with the Appian software in a FedRAMP-compliant cloud hosting environment.* More than 5 years Java and SQL experience.* Experience in the AWS, Tableau and document management are desired.* 5+ years leading implementation of Appian-based solutions.Certification Industry-recognized certifications such as: * Preferred Appian A-Score Certification of Level 2* Certified Solutions Developer
