We are seeking a Supply Technician on site at Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in Glynco, GA. RESPONSIBILITIES * Serves as the ATF Academy Operations Property Custodian/Manager - tracks the transfers and issuance of ATF Academy staff and student accountable property; disposes of excessed/unserviceable accountable property in ATF''s property management program (SUNFLOWER); maintains property accountability documents for the ATF Academy; and initiates, coordinates, and completes the annual ATF Academy property inventory * Serves as backup to the General Clerk III for the intake and distribution of incoming mail for the ATF Academy staff; processes outgoing mail/packages (including packaging/shipping materials, producing labels, and handling drop-off or pick up to/from FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other carriers); coordinates directly with the FLETC distribution center for any incoming/outgoing mail* Operates and maintains, as necessary/required, an assigned GOV for regular-duty requirements; and operates other ATF Academy GOVs, as necessary/required, to carry out Academy support operations* Assists with maintenance, records, key control, and issue of the National Training Academy''s vehicles* Maintains the ATF Academy''s student supply cage in an orderly fashion through access and inventory controls/ systems/procedures* Coordinates with ATF Headquarters to ensure trainee clothing and equipment needs are properly filled and delivered prior to the start of a new training class* Administers ATF law-enforcement training equipment during uniform issue* Presents and explains to trainees the proper use of the equipment issued before the start of Special Agent Basic Training (SABT) and IOI Basic Training (IOIBT)* Performs initial inventory with each student and has them fill out and sign an inventory accountability sheet;* Administers inventory for returned tactical bags and training equipment* Serves as Academy photographer for graduation ceremonies and first (1st) day credential photos* Prints graduation photos, cuts, and organizes them into folders mailed to recent Academy graduates* Serves as ATF''s liaison to the National Academy and other partner organizations for disposal of excess ATF property* Determines Academy staff and trainee uniform needs and prepares purchase requests (PRs) prior to ordering uniform items* Performs work on a ladder as needed to restock the ATF Academy supply cage with student-issued uniforms and equipment* Lifts up to 100 lbs. as part of routine daily duties* Serves as the key custodian for the ATF National Academy for GOVs, classrooms, and ATF training facility keys Requirements Requirements: * Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).* Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.* Strong written and oral communication skills.* Good customer/client handling skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.* US Citizen and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor degree preferred* 2 to 5 years'' experience in a general office setting
