Cabinet and Custom Furniture Maker

Eurocraft, Inc. is a custom furniture manufacturing company in Chicago. We make furniture, kitchen cabinets and built-ins. Eurocraft has been in business since 1996 and has an excellent reputation. We are seeking an experienced cabinet maker to join our team on the Northwest side of Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience. Primary Responsibilities and Requirements:Operate machinery and equipment including routers, saws, and hand toolsAssemble, cut, trim, sand parts, etc. and examine workmanship of finished product for conformity to drawings.Ability to read drawings and manufacture accurately from either sketches or detailed drawingsAbility to lift at least 50 poundsStrong attention to detailSecondary Responsibilities:Cleaning common areas Maintaining tools and equipmentAssist in loading/unloading the vansAttending measuring and installation appointments as neededMoving pieces within the shopAssisting other coworkers as neededThis is a full time, hourly position. The hours are 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The position offers paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick time.
