Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy Revolution Become a Data Analytics Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you''ll reside in our Vegetation Management Resource Planning & Performance Management (RPPM) Department. This person will develop automated dashboards and other reporting tools to track progress and will lead data operations across our Vegetation Management (VM) programs to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Additionally, this position will support other VM/RPPM initiatives to help improve and promote organizational performance and provide consultation to all levels of management and will be responsible for continuous improvements of business processes. As a Data Analytics Advisor, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future? A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright! Develop and maintain an integrated approach for acquiring, analyzing and validating data to ensure the accessibility, reliability and timeliness of data for users for all vegetation management programs. Identify analytical trends and issues and communicate to impacted partners. Determine the underlying issues and collaborate with partners to develop mitigation plans to address issues. Will support the development of data governance processes and procedures to ensure oversight of VM data. Develop reports and dashboards using PowerBI for key internal partners. Work with cross-functional SCE partners to support ongoing systems changes and requirements. Responsible for addressing data discrepancies. Research and provide recommendations to impacted partners. Responsible for monitoring progress and communicating gaps in goal performance. QualificationsThe essentials Seven or more years of experience in a Data Analyst position analyzing and interpreting data sets to create reports for business operations. The preferred Bachelor Degree''s. Two or more years of experience working with Data Analytics tools such as PowerBI, SAS or Tableau. Three or more years of experience using the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel such as V-Lookups, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, or Macros. Two or more years of experience with MS Access or SQL. SharePoint knowledge. Five or more years of Electric Utility Industry experience. You should know ... Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position''s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
