To learn more, visit .ResponsibilitiesResponsible for recurring or daily functions or processes that are necessary for business execution.JOB DUTIESCompletes or monitors organizational functions or processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established policies and regulations.Tracks processes, preparing reports for management detailing quality or quality of departmental actions.Implements procedural changes meant to improve performance or efficiency.Resolves errors and handles exceptions of moderate risk or complexity.E-LEARNING JOB FUNCTIONSResponsibilities focus on developing and editing online learning materials and content. This includes assessing learning needs and analyzing existing instructional materials.Develops and designs online materials such as lesson plans, lesson content, learning objectives and assessment tools. Specific functions include:Collaborating with subject matter experts to design highly engaging content.Creating instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.Designing content to optimize learning.Generating the layout of the learning supports.Redesigning content to ensure it matches the learner''s needs.Working with eLearning Developer Leads to design visuals, audio and interactive learning tools to support courses.Translate basic visuals into engaging online content using a variety of tools.SPECIFIC LEAD COPYEDITOR/SCRIPT WRITER (CESW) FUNCTIONSThe CESW Lead works with the content creators to ensure that the content aligns to the technical, design, and editorial standards required for the curriculum, while also ensuring that the curriculum design retains its elements and intent.Specific functions include:Working with other leads to schedule work, assign resources, and meet project deliverables.Answering copyediting/script writing questions during the content development phase.Advising on the naming conventions and formatting of materials during the content development phase.Checking materials folder for duplicates, Word documents, inconsistent file naming, and formatting issues.Advising copyeditors about editorial style to promote consistency in editing across the content.Reaching out to content and EL leads to resolve questions that arise during copyediting.Ensuring that permission credit lines are placed correctly on materials and in playlists and that all permissions have been addressed in accordance with PCG guidelines.QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONPerforms work under minimal supervision.Handles complex issues & problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.Typically requires a bachelors degree and 4 to 6 years of PETENCIESAbility to work as part of a team.Analytical thinking skills.Detail oriented.Ability to meet deadlines.Ability to understand and follow directions.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSFundamental understanding of HTMLCreativityGraphic design knowledge/understandingTraining and teaching skillsEnthusiasm for learningAudio and video editing skillsKnowledge of online instructional tools including EdX, Canvas, SAFARI Montage, etc.LI-RemoteEEO StatementPublic Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to celebrating diversity and intentionally creating a culture of inclusion.
