Job Description: Bennett Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst I located in Arlington, VA . The Program Analyst I will conduct processes and procedures as required by the program office. This position shall support the Management Support Division, Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health Branch at the United States Marshals Service. The person will serve as the safety and health specialist for all USMS facilities and employees nationwide. Responsibilities Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Assisting the agency Assistant Chief with the USMS Safety and Health, Environmental, Indoor Firing Range and Automated External Defibrillator and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (AED/CPR) Program, and the development of policies, procedures and reports. * Assist the agency with safety and health technical information to GSA project managers, and USMS Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs, and District Safety and Health Offices. * Assists USMS Districts and Divisions in resolving especially safety and health issues, and cases in where guides are very general or lacking. * Assists the USMS with their national Automated External Defibrillator and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Program including training needs for instructors, resources, and maintain accountability of maintenance and property. * Assist with Indoor Firing Ranges assessment, and cleaning and repair activities. * Ensure that safety and health data is collected and analyzes to determine contributing factors. * Develop measures which are economically feasible in controlling or eliminating actual or potential hazards to USMS employees. * Investigates and analyzes accidents and hazardous conditions to determine origin, causes, and contributing elements and provides follow-up guidance to commander, directors, managers, supervisors, workers, and unions. * Carry out safety education activities, promoting safety awareness through safety committees, safety stand down days, providing safety training sessions and briefings, preparing safety literature and promotional materials. Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements: * Bachelor''s Degree in Safety or Occupational Health fields (preferred) or a degree in other related fields that include or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study from among the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology. * Prior experience in Automated External Defibrillator and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (AED/CPR) Program (Preferred) * One (1) year of experience utilizing or working with Indoor Firing Ranges * One (1) year of data collection experience * One (1) year of Risk Assessment experience * One (1) year of Instructional experience required Skills and Abilities: * Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources. * Excellent attention to detail. * Strong communication skills. * Exhibit a high level of confidentiality. * Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change. * Ability to embrace a new systems and process enhancements. * Must be willing to Travel (up to 25% as required. Security Requirements: Clearance Level Required: Public Trust or the ability to obtain * Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. * Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. * Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.
