Don''t hesitate to apply.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates, participates, assists, constructs, fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains production and operational equipment that includes machines with hydraulic and pneumatic controls as required for plant operations. Assists supervisor in planning, scheduling and assigning various jobs. Order parts and materials for maintenance department from warehouse and purchasing department as required to install and maintain equipment. Locates, diagnoses and repairs troubles in mechanical systems and equipment. Works with electrical hand and power tools, measuring and testing instruments. Uses and interprets for others complicated blueprints and drawings. Troubleshoots breakdowns to determine cause of trouble while keeping work of unit on schedule. Keeps work area safe, clean, and orderly, wears proper safety equipment and follows all safety rules and procedures. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.QualificationsCandidates should have the ability to:Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems malfunctions. Understand the handling and use of mechanical repair tools and equipment. Effectively manage time and coordinate work functions with co-workers. Demonstrates initiative and self-starting ability as well as teamwork. Maintains clean and orderly work area. Wears required personal protective equipment and follows safety rules/procedures.Work 3rd shift and some weekends.Please Note: A successful candidate must take an entry level written exam to determine a base knowledge for the proper starting wage.
