Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy Revolution The Compliance and Data Analytics, Sr. Specialist will be responsible for data mining, analytics, interpretation, and reporting as it pertains to internal and external regulatory compliance programs in support of the Pole Program Management Department. The Pole Program Management is responsible for identifying and managing a budget of over $650 million for its pole inspection and replacement scope resulting in 26,000+ Distribution and Transmission pole replacements annually throughout SCE''s 50,000+ square mile service territory. Developing a model to forecast pole construction targets for regions throughout our service territory taking into account inspection results, financial constraints, workforce availability and coordination with other projects Measuring the forecast against actual results and continually refining the accuracy of the model Providing analysis and research to support SCE''s general rate case Supporting the budget and balancing account activities for Pole Program Management (PPM) includes developing operational forecasts, performing variance analysis, evaluating cost reduction scenarios, ensuring correct charging practices, and producing reports for management Supporting regulatory activities includes working on SCE''s general rate case and other regulatory filings by drafting testimony, responding to data requests, and conducting research and analysis, producing regulatory compliance reports Maintaining a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices Performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned QualificationsThe essentials Five years of experience in forecasting, or budgeting or cost analysis. Experience with Microsoft Excel or other analytical software performing the following functions: using models and pivot tables to run scenario analysis and interpret the data output to make recommendations by comparing actuals/trends to forecasts and communicate results by developing impactful presentations, charts, and graphs. The preferred Bachelor''s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field or 5 years related experience Demonstrated experience providing research and analysis to support regulatory filings such as the General Rate Case or any compliance related programs Demonstrated experience supporting development of annual capital budgets Demonstrating experience developing procedures and reports including identifying and resolving data discrepancies to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met Demonstrated experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAS, SAP and geospatial systems Demonstrated strong skills in the areas of team building, interpersonal skills, communication, decision making, results delivery,"¯ethics and working safely Knowledge of T&D operations, policies, procedures, and practices You should know ...
