We achieve this by cultivating a culture to hire, reward, mentor and grow Exceptional People.The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production systems and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facilities equipmentProvide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine servicePerform simple machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic to troubleshoot and repair production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals, drawing and work directly with outside vendors to maintain and repair production equipmentDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as requiredPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitatesUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipmentComply with all company, local, city, state and federal regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasOther duties and projects as determined by production and business needsEducation, Skills, and Experience:High School Diploma / GED required and a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience required including strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC and HVAC experienceCompletion of craft apprentice, or an equivalent number of years of experience in a production maintenance environment preferredFork and lift truck certification, overhead crane, understanding of PLC programming preferredEstablished ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutionsExcellent attention to detail is requiredEOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
