If these types of projects excite you, we''d love for you to join us.The roleAs a software engineer on the environment platform team you will define the in-environment building blocks used by developers, both internal to Palantir as well as Palantir''s customer community, to interact with our infrastructure and the Apollo Platform. Examples include:Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and evolve the control plane of the infrastructure at Palantir - be responsible for the APIs through which in-house as well as third-party software developers will interact with infrastructure.Deeply understand and leverage kubernetes and cloud provider primitives to solve business critical problems at scale.Enable the business to "go where needed" by developing a menu of pre-approved and self-service offerings across a matrix of tenancy (multi-tenant, compute shifter, dedicated, etc.) and hosting infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, secure cloud, on-prem).What We ValueSystems programming experience with strong proficiency in Golang, Java, or equivalent.Experience developing and managing highly-available distributed systems.Proven success building systems that meet requirements around monitoring, stability, and scalability.Passion for designing thoughtful and robust APIs.Deep familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) at scale.Palantir is committed to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion and is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
