JR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER TS/SCI REQUIRED

Description Job Description:Leidos has a career opening for a Systems Engineer (SE) on the Sustainment for Analysis Services (SAS) contract located in Gaithersburg, MD. The SAS program provides sustainment and deployment support for multiple Mission-Critical exploitation capabilities. Each system has its own specific requirements and infrastructure. We are seeking a technical, self-motivated SE, who is versatile and flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities of the customer. The candidate will be subject to a government security clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.The SE is responsible for several SAS systems, communicating with the customer, and engaging with program management, and maintaining system documentation and providing status to program management. For Advanced Motion Platform (AMP), providing oversight to the Field Service Representative (FSR) team, and providing scheduled coverage to monitor the system health and respond to End-User questions and requests."¯ The SE is responsible for maintaining the schedule of the FSRs to maintain full coverage of the scheduled monitoring. For JARTIS and VEGA (Visualizing Enterprise Geospatial Intelligence), performing requirements analysis and Amazon Web Services (AWS) maintenance for a cloud-based financial tracking system and business intelligence system. For Dissemination Monitoring System (DMS), the SE will primarily monitor system health.Primary Responsibilities:Apply maintenance patches and perform security upgrades in AWS environment.Coordinate with customer Product Owner and system development team.Maintain FSR schedule to ensure full coverage.Document system workflows.Analyze requirements and assist with user stories.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor''s degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Master''s with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.Experience working directly with customer end-users.Preferred Qualifications:Full Motion Video experience.Service+ familiarity.NGA familiarity.Pay Range:Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
