Please visit our website at Pipe Group is currently looking for a Production Supervisor.This position will be directly assisting in the overall administration and coordination of production. This position will be directly assisting in maintaining and enhancing the department''s critical deadlines in production and the management deadlines in administrative demands.Essential Functions:Staff crews with the appropriate type and quantity of personnel for safe and efficient methodsCoordinate and assure proper material deliveriesPlan work schedules of crews to assure conformance to estimated labor projections and project deadlinesPerform checks on setups and finished products for accuracy and conformance to plans and specificationsMonitor personnel for adherence to company policies and productivityProduce a quality product (including quality evaluations) that meets the customers'' expectations while ensuring that drawings and project specs are followedCommunicate with management and train subordinatesPerforms requirements to satisfy company procedures including administrative requirementsMaintain order and housekeepingPerform all occupational safety and hazard procedures in conjunction with all essential dutiesStrives for zero defects and incidentsEvaluate and develop personnelOther duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position requires critical thinking and working closely with production Crew Leaders and engineering to ensure that deadlines will be met.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor''s degree in related field - preferred, not required.Knowledge of OSHA and demonstrated record of safety-focused leadership.Knowledge 5S process improvement.Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation Proficient in MS Office and ERP software (experience with IFS a plus).Outstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leaderships skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachBilingual - a plus, not required.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkA full time position.
