If these qualities describe you, we''d love for you to join Ingevity!The Process Engineer will provide day-to-day technical and engineering support to the operating areas; assists in planning, design, and installation of equipment and processes in the operating areas.How you will impact Ingevity:Develop and execute process improvement projects to improve the stability, efficiency, sustainability, productivity, environmental compliance, and safety of the existing plant processes and systemsParticipate in Process Hazard Analysis activities for projects as necessaryCoordinate, plan and execute plant trials to support improvement projectsCreate technical memos and reports to document finding and recommendations of projects and trialsDesign and validate equipment/process capabilities and specifications for capital projectsLead commissioning activities for capital improvement projectsExecute and manage Capital Projects as necessaryProvide technical/engineering support to the Operations Team, through problem solving, data analytics, and troubleshooting methodsBe active and engaged in the safety programs of the site to build and maintain a strong safety culture to achieve zero personal and process safety incidentsWhat you need to succeed:Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required. Chemical Engineering degree preferred.The ideal candidate will be available to begin employment before 12/31/2022 but consideration may begiven to qualified candidates with relevant Co-op/internship experience graduating before May 2023.Experience supporting production and/or engineering processes in a manufacturing or similar environment applying engineering fundamentals and/or relevant project management or leadership is required. Related Co-op and/or internship experience in the areas described is preferred.2+ co-op and/or internship terms are preferred but not requiredGood interpersonal relationship skills, problem solving/troubleshooting skills, and written/verbal communication skills.The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and use problem solving tools.0-10% travel required.This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
