We believe in creative thinking and collaboration to help build a better mobility experience for everyone, improving people''s ability to move - whether for work or play.What we do: We are looking for a strong Process Assurance Manager to play a key role in the development of eVTOL advanced air mobility product & services solutions. This position requires a professional with airborne systems development process assurance experience capable of leading the definition and development of the process assurance department using demonstrated expertise in definition and application of processes and procedures in alignment with guidelines and standards issued by regulatory and standards organizations. This position will apply process assurance principles and methods for research, design, and evaluation of applied processes and related evidence during all phases of the product development process. This role will be involved in duties bound to auditing and verification of alignment to process plans through process audits, ongoing monitoring, and reviews related to aircraft and systems related achievements. This position will work with other engineering subject areas and will collaborate closely with systems engineering, software, complex electronics hardware specialists, and DERs on the best approaches to achieving objectives.What you can do:Review process assurance plans for compliance to requisite standards (based on SAE ARP 4754A/ED-79A, SAE ARP 4761/ED-135, RTCA DO-178C/ED-12C, RTCA DO-326A, RTCA DO-254/ED-80)Ensure development is in accordance with the requisite plans and standards, produce required artifactsSupervise/Audit alignment to testing, verification, and validation planning documentsAttend reviewsProvide Software/CEH Test witnessingAudit configuration, change management process, and problem report resolutionAttend Change Management Board meetingsOther duties as assigned.What you can contribute:Bachelor''s Degree in an Engineering field required, aerospace, computer science, or electronics major preferred10+ years'' experience in process assurance management in the aerospace industry (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience (budgetary and disciplinary responsibility for a team of engineers)At least 3 years of experience in aircraft/system development per ARP-4754AExperience in developing real-time safety critical software applications to DO-178C (i.e. a former hands-on role in airborne software development)Experience, knowledge of sophisticated electronic hardware (CEH) per DO-254Knowledge of aircraft design and functionsKnowledge of the RTCA DO-326A and DO-335 for cyber security process development and alignmentExpert knowledge of standards SAE ARP 4754A/ED-79A, SAE ARP 4761/ED-135Experience using C/C++ programming languagesFamiliarity with VectorCAST and Doxygen tools (or similar)Proficiency with IBM DOORS NG, Rhapsody, and Relyance SoftwareExperience with avionics data buses, e.g. ARINC 429, ARINC 825, ARINC 664, MIL-STD-1553BExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive delivery of communication and follow upUnderstanding of Requirement-Based Engineering (RBE) philosophyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailMust have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraintsSelf-motivated and forward-thinking personalityAdditional academic training in Systems Engineering and Formal Methods VerificationExperience working with government regulatory agenciesStandout colleague ability to work well with others while still assuring quality and independenceSound analysis and judgment capabilityYou may also be able to contribute:Master''s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering preferredAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check.
