Pharmacist PRN Bedford County Hospital - 2209370 Job : Pharmacy Primary Location : TN-Shelbyville-Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital (VBCH) Organization : Pharmacy Services 261121 Shift: : Variable Description JOB SUMMARY: Staff pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapy, and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions. Basic Qualifications Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (or equivalent experience) : an accredited School of Pharmacy and Bachelor''s Degree (or equivalent experience) Pharmacy Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR): + Licensed Pharmacist Required Additional Qualification Information: + Health-system experience preferred, but not required.
