Strategies and business development are centered on Oncology Services, Cardiac Services, and Orthopedics.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:Under general medical and supervisory direction, administers the full range of respiratory care modalities in all patient care areas. Initiates and terminates mechanical ventilation per Cardiac surgery protocol or physicians orders. Operates and maintains blood gas analyzer. Prepares and distributes work assignments as per departmental policy. Monitors and adjusts staffing level of incoming shift. Performs other duties as assigned. These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence.QualificationsMinimum: One (1) to two (2) years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field required. Graduate from 2 year R.T. program with a satisfactory clinical rotation required. Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry required. Bachelor''s degree in healthcare related field or equivalent professional experience required. Able to operate blood gas equipment required. Basic knowledge and operation of PC required. Current State of California RCP license required, BLS for Healthcare providers required, ACLS Certification required.
