For more information about ProMach, visit and for more information on ProMach Careers, visit Description:Federal is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Engineer to manage conversion, retrofit, and rebuild projects for the aftermarket sales team focusing primarily on proactive sales opportunities. This position develops, promotes, receives and processes to completion retrofit opportunities and customer inquiries, orders, and concerns regarding machinery conversions, retrofits, and rebuilds for existent fillers and cappers. An ability to blend excellent communication skills with organizational and detail orientations are keys to success. This position reports to the Director of Life Cycle Management and is located at our Waukesha, WI facility.Effectively develop and promote conversion, retrofit, and rebuild opportunities by understanding installed base and opportunities for improvement and by developing customer contacts and building relationships with existing customer base.Ensure all needed engineering specs, samples, and important details are collected to process quotes.Ability to design custom machine components.Develop and process all quotes and orders in a timely manner.Recommend product enhancements or other up-sell opportunities and follow-up on efforts to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.Develop and present technical information to customers in person and over electronic mediaPartner with global marketing to develop world-class aftermarket marketing collateralResearch and analyze competitive information, and leverage to improve our ability to compete.Develop installed base data mining tools and leverage the data to identify potential sales opportunities and to sell aftermarket products and dependently and proactively contact customers in pursuit of leads and opportunities.Follow-up on open project quotes to secure projects and/or confirm customer interest/project validity.Launch and manage all projects with needed details, follow-up on needed purchase order issuance, customer invoicing, and project timing details.Act as a liaison for technical resolution during the project, upon installation, and after project terface with internal company department resources as required to move project needs along (i.e. engineering, purchasing, shipping, and management).Update reporting documents as required/needed.Job Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in Engineering preferred or Technical Degree with equivalent experienceAutoCad or SolidWorks experience.Excellent communication & organizational skills to work with customers, manage projects and build good relationships. Ability to multi-task & adapt to changing priorities. Self-motivated, personable and comfortable puter literacy, with understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)2-5 years of experience managing technical sales efforts with success preferably in the packaging industryExcellent knowledge of mechanical/electrical technical applicationsAbility to read & understand complex engineering designs, including wiring schematics.Ability to work independently, maintain a positive attitude and work well with all levels of managementAble to travel up to 10¾nefits:Salary is only a part of a well-developed compensation program.
