Specifically, the position will focus upon Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) analyses and consultative guidance to stakeholders. Within this, focus will tilt towards energy and emissions. Solid understanding of facilities infrastructure required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesigns, generates, reviews and understands reports. Uses aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete and integrated analysis, improvement and/or recommendation(s).Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to all levels of management.Acts as project lead, including supervisory and/or managerial activities, in the coordination of the analyst team to successfully complete specified projects.Develops scenario planning tools/models. Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in general business conditions.Identifies root causes and other opportunities for improvements by and among the clients and/or companies, especially within the Energy/Emissions space. Reviews accuracy of information provided and responds to requests from management and vendors.Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions. Liaises with functional energy, facilities management and engineering operational leaders and provides value and actionable insights as an internal consultant.Coordinates involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations. Other duties may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. However, expected to lead project teams and plan/supervise assignments of lower-level employees.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training. Must demonstrate ability to learn and use analytical software (Excel, Power BI, etc.) to not less than a high intermediate level of competency.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESCertified Energy Manager (CEM Association of Energy Engineers), or commitment to attaining same within first year in position.Not required, but the following will be viewed favorably: certification in core software application(s), Power BI and/or Excel Certified Reliability Engineer (American Society for Quality) Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt or above Project Management Professional (PMP Project Management Institute)COMMUNICATION SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to organize projects and programs. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively synthesize and present information.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis incorporating discounted cashflow.REASONING ABILITYAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESAdvance experience in MS Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, etc.). Experience with Power BI. Ability to learn new analytics applications competently and quickly. Experience and thorough understanding of energy and facilities infrastructure. Ability to use query and report generation tools.
