Job Description: Duties include Create designs of small and medium power transformers according to customer specifications, industry standards and company design practices using existing software tools. Analyze design program output to select most cost effective design solutions. Complete typical drawings for customer to supply with quotation. Provide technical support to the Marketing Department and customers concerning transformers, company''s manufacturing capabilities, and industry standards (ANSI/IEE/NEMA/CSA/IEC). Contact customers to clarify requirements. Requirements: Basic: Bachelor of Science in electrical (or mechanical) engineering plus one to three (1 to 3) years of experience in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical background in electrical design theory Resides within reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri. Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
