Customer Service Rep

What you will do:* Drive customer satisfaction, to increase the combined overall sales volume and profit margins for the pro sales market segment. This will be accomplished through maintaining current business and developing new business with existing and new customers.* Telesale existing and potential customers delivering increased sales opportunities; provide quotes, confirmations, introduce new products and promotions; respond promptly and professionally to customer requests. Communicate with customers about changes or updates in new product offerings or changes in pricing.* Procure customer order information and enter order information in a timely and accurate fashion.* Promptly address customer problems/complaints or forward in a timely manner to the appropriate person to manage/resolve the issue.* Coordinate warehouse and shipping exceptions with Operations.* Promptly address Direct Sales container quote/requests and special order quote/order requests.What you will need for the role:* Excellent organizational and communication skills* Self-confidence and telemarketing skills are essential* Must be a self-starter with self-discipline and excellent time-management skills* General office and basic math skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel* Effective communication skills, both written and oral, (English), and courteous telephone manner* Basic understanding of the supply chain to the building materials industry is desiredABOUT THE COMPANY:Novo Building Products is a leading manufacturer and distributor of moulding, stair parts, doors, and other specialty building products servicing building material dealers (lumberyards), door shops, retail home centers, and millwork manufacturers throughout the United States.
