We invite you to be a part of the UT Southwestern team where you''ll discover a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and a life-changing career!Job SummaryAs a key part of the UT Southwestern Epic Imaging Team, the Senior Business Analyst is the expert on Epic Radiant and Epic Cupid. They will be responsible for managing complex projects as well as establishing and implementing new or revised workflows. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can communicate and collaborate with UT Southwestern leadership and clients, manage a fast-paced work environment, and successfully emblement new software applications for the Epic Imaging Team. Join a team of hard-working IT and healthcare professionals who are committed to providing the best possible care for patients at UT Southwestern.(Remote Eligible Opportunity) Job DutiesDefine, manage, and maintain project plan and schedules for clients. Monitor compliance with definitions of project scope, timelines, and deliverables.Collect, interpret, and document specifications required to develop new software applications. Develop and implement operational plans for new and existing business computer applications.Coordinate testing of new and existing applications to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of system users. Document and track status of application errors and related issues in problem log. Assist programmers and business analysts in analyzing and resolving pile complete, concise, and comprehensive policies and operation procedures.Develop and implement new system administrative procedures.Assist in developing and implementing business strategies in departments to improve operational processing and productivity.Monitor development of specifications and establishes priorities for accomplishing design and testing of various projects.Develop, maintain, and track accounts assigned to projects plans or programs.Records time spent on projects to meet cost-recovery requirements.Experience and EducationBachelor''s Degree in business administration, computer science, or other related field.Five (5) years of business systems and/or project experience with exposure to project development and testing, installation, and training.Preferred QualificationsActive certification in Epic Radiant and/or CupidCurrent NVT (New Version Training) and Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badgesExperience with Epic Actionable Findings and Decision SupportExperience with PACS, PowerScribe, and MagViewExperience with custom integrations such as FHIR, HL7 or XMLExperience with analytics, SQL, report writing, and BI toolsKnowledge and experience with ITIL standards and change management procedures To learn more about the benefits UT Southwestern offers visit COVID-19 vaccine information, applicants should visit position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
