This role will function as the database expert for the property; targeting the right customer segments with motivating offers that will influence consumer behavior. This position will develop database marketing strategies in conjunction with property marketing teams, to ensure program results meet or exceed expectations. The Database Marketing Manager will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of Database Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functions, including providing analytics and recommendations, which will introduce new opportunities for revenue generation and cost reduction.RequirementsThe Nitty-Gritty:What exactly you will be doing...This role will work closely with the VP of Marketing to: Formulate, recommend and implement processes and procedures to maximize revenues through CRM for property wide operations. Work closely with other managers in the planning and carrying out of activities and programs to ensure the meeting of company and departmental objectives through CRMCollect, analyze and interpret sufficient, competent, relevant and useful data to provide a sound basis for strategic business decisionsEvaluate the performance of player incentive programs to ensure rates are maintained and achieve acceptable profit marginsCreate mail campaigns and monitor them as needed, to achieve maximum profitabilityEnsure accuracy and integrity of all offers, customer lists and customer records, in addition to the overall integrity of customer database information. Be responsible for segmenting the database appropriately by developing bounce back programs, reactivation programs and general Ad-Hoc programs Participate in communication and forecast meetings to contribute a Database Marketing perspective to issuesEnsure that ''soft occupancy periods'' are addressed by maximizing database resources to generate occupancy with customers while maintaining consistency in policy administrationBe responsible for maintaining policies, procedures and standards relating to database managementCompile monthly volume and revenue figures in preparation of market share analysis to facilitate managerial decision makingWhat qualities are we looking for?You got skills? Unwavering integrity and endless work ethic Appreciate constructive feedback, as well as graciously providing the same Tenacious and self-motivated Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations Attend required training sessions Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies and procedures relating to the department Have knowledge of the Hotel''s programs to address problem gambling Consults with the appropriate individuals and maintains effective system of written policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with NV Gaming regulations and Minimum Internal Control Standards Takes the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud and potential violations by reporting such instances to the appropriate levels of management Reports items addresses by the ''Compliance Questionnaire'' as they occur to the Compliance Officer of his/her designate Reports any acts of wrongdoing*Virgin Hotels celebrates diversity and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer*
