Customer Service - Oak Creek - 20 hr

POSITION PURPOSE:This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards of product to ensure the expectations of the company and our customers are being met. The job will entail working closely with various internal departments, as well as working with our clients to provide effective customer service and product support.Hours : 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to FridayLocation: Oak Creek, WI 53154JOB COMPETENCIES:1. Technical CapacityESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ï‚ Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the issue; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolutionï‚ Backup to Customer Support by responding to customer issues and inquiries, providing return authorizations, processing credits/replacements, and check in and restock returned productï‚ Maintain reports and logs of quality issues including causes and corrective actionsï‚ Ensure issues are resolved and requests are answered in a professional, courteous, and timely mannerï‚ Communicates with multiple departments to solve shipping and product issuesï‚ Work with carriers on OS&D and shipment related issues (LTL and Parcel)ï‚ Inspection of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure goods being produced or sold meet expectations of consumer and company standardsï‚ Establish an acceptable variation range for products and identify when something fails to meet expectationsï‚ Complete and follow through on non-conformance reports for defective products and materialsï‚ Communicate quality issues with QA leadership and assist in physical control of non-conforming products and materialsï‚ Work alongside QA leadership to identify potential areas of improvement in product and/or processesï‚ Assist in special projects as neededRequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent is strongly preferredOver 2 year and up to including 3 years'' experience is preferredBenefitsTo be discussed at time of direct hire. pando ind456PandoLogic. , Location: Oak Creek, WI - 53154
