ResponsibilitiesPlans and monitors the development of, and implements training updates for the Information Warfare (IW) OTM at Corry Station, Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) in Pensacola, FL. Works with a team of other RTM Tech Writers/SMEs of enlisted rates, a Web Developer, and reports to the NETC Program Manager. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized, and new product modules. Helps team manage the OTM update through the NETC E2E cradle-to-grave process; the team prepares product demonstrations; develops OTM content; determines the methodology; and coordinates the development of training products. As the Technical Writer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the OTM revision: Conducts in-process review sessions, interfaces with the CIWT SMEs for collection of inputs, and provides inputs for the team''s Web Developer to design. Requires prior technical subject matter knowledge and experience in the IW Officer community. Must possess a SECRET clearance and have prior experience in developing training products according to the NETC E2E process. Must work on client site (Corry Station, Pensacola, FL).Confers with management, employees, and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring technical training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.Formulates manual outline and determines instructional methods.Trainers are expected to have technical expertise that demonstrates proficiency in IW Officer community.Continuously works with the Web Developer to ensure that updates to manual are moving through the lifecycle/workflow process accordingly.Monitors and reports status and milestones to CIWT TA, in addition to the NETC Program Manager and other stakeholders as required.QualificationsBS/BA with 5-8 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience- Experience developing training for NETC- SECRET Clearance- Prior Active/Reserve Duty Service in US Navy as an IW OfficerPreferred Skills and Experience- Prior experience developing Officer training manualscjpost
