They make appropriate suggestions regarding pain and symptom management in order to ensure comfort and quality of life. The Per Diem Staff Registered Nurse (RN) educates and supports patients and families regarding expectations during the end-of-life process and is responsible for the overall coordination of patients care. Work Schedule - As needed on the Day Shift (7a-730pm) Service Area(s) - Barrington CareCenterRequired Experience:Requirements for Staff Registered Nurse (RN) positionAssociates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferredTraining in hospice and palliative care and pain and symptom management, preferredLicensed Registered Nurse in the state of IllinoisCertified Hospice and Palliative Nurse preferred1 to 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in the healthcare setting, preferably in hospiceExperience working with patients of all agesCertain positions require Pediatric skill competencies on an infant, toddler, preschool, school age or adolescentCommunication skills, verbal and writtenComputer skills (Word, Excel, patient database, e-mail), voicemailKeyword: Staff Registered Nurse (RN) - DaysFrom: JourneyCare
