OverviewH&K Group, Inc. is searching for an HR EEO Compliance Specialist to support Affirmative Action/EEO activities and reporting. Based in Skippack, PA, this role requires travel to various job sites to support the business in all phases of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, career development, and promotion. Competitive salary commensurate with experience100% Company-paid Health Benefits401(k) Savings and Investment PlanTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programsAdditional training opportunities including on the job, online through the H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and moreResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all work according to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policiesTravel to company locations and job sites to support EEO activities, compliance, anti-harassment, etc.Provide data analysis and support for ongoing HR compliance reporting with regulatory agencies as necessary, including EEO-1 and AAPProvide support on a variety of federal and state human resource compliance related issues (EEO, wage and hour, ADA, pay transparency, discrimination, anti-harassment, etc.)Provide guidance on HR policies, practices, and proceduresProvide other support as needed within HR team for projects, peak capacity periods, and broader HR team priorities, including:EEO and other compliance auditsManagement training for interview/hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, EEO, Sexual harassment, etc.Conduct labor market wage surveys and advise managers on salary administration for compliance and equity within the organizationOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills, Education, and ExperienceBachelor''s degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR five years of related experience and/or trainingA combination of education and experience may be consideredThree years of relevant experience supporting Affirmative Action, EEO, and compliance within a large, complex organizationStrong knowledge of current US federal and state employment legislationValid driver''s licenseClean Driving recordEffective verbal and written communicationProblem solving and priority setting skillsComposure and conflict resolution skillsProficient internet, HRIS/ATS, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skillsAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)Preferred Skills, Education, and ExperienceFive years of relevant experience supporting Affirmative Action, EEO, and compliancePHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other relevant HR certificationsOSHA or other relevant safety certificatesRelevant experience within heavy civil and highway construction, heavy industry/manufacturing, or miningPhysical DemandsFrequently required to sitFrequently required to talk and hearOccasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlOccasionally lift up to 25 poundsSpecific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusWork EnvironmentOccasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions Occasionally exposed to fumes and/or airborne particlesNoise level is usually moderateThe H&K Group, Inc. provides complete heavy civil contracting and construction materials solutions with safety, speed, quality, efficiency, and value.
