Production Line LeaderLocation:Charleston, SC, USReq ID 39706 | North Charleston, United StatesResponsibilitiesDrive continuous improvement from the plant floor, providing support to associatesInterview and select assembly and honing team membersManage and develop assembly and honing staffSupervise/Assist Production Technician in maintaining effective training to associatesMaintain and document Daily Routine ManagementMeet daily goals of Quality, Productivity and DeliveryMaintain daily records as needed per the WABCO quality systemProvide technical support when neededAssure adherence to current WABCO safety guidelines and practicesConduct analysis of non-conformances and troubleshoot problemsAddress performance concerns timely and professionally through appropriate disciplinary systemsApprove/submit timesheets & time off requests from full time and temp staff within established deadlinesPerform Assembler functions as back up or help when needed.Will be required to notify/escalate wherever needed in case of deviations.Must be able to communicate effectively via emails, phone.Soft skills like Microsoft word, Excel preferred.May require weekend work on special circumstances as TERNAL/ EXTERNAL INTERACTIONSQualityShippingReceiving and Inventory ControlProductionPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
