They are looking for a Mechanical Product Development Engineer who will follow Product Development from concepts to launch.We are looking for a Senior Product - Design and Development Engineer (Mechanical).This is a position for an innovative and entrepreneurial Product Engineer that loves Mechanical Engineering, analysis on mechanisms, electronics packaging, and leading design work on projects...the company is moving product designs from low volume to high volume design.Job Function:Provide technical guidance, direction and hands-on participation in design and development on mechanical engineering aspects of new (exciting) products.Lead design changes, improvements based on test data, generate test orders, evaluate results via failure analysis.Work with the model shop to develop prototype products.Participate in DFM/DFA and DFMEA, PFMEA - Design & Process Failure Mode Analysis.Participate in DVP&R Testing.Use 3D cad to propose new designs, modify designs or perform design analysis on mechanisms and mechanical devices.Requirements:BSME or MSME (or Ph.D). in Mechanical Engineering.Must have 5+ (or more) years of Work Experience in Product Development.Developing Mechanical Engineering aspects of products produced in high volume.Experience Developing or Designing products at Automotive OEM or Automotive Tier 1.Experience in developing products for Powertrain or Drivetrain is a huge plus.Must Have Experience with 3D Cad with some understanding calculations packages.Track record of creativity and innovation within product development arenas.Exceptional communication skills.Willing to relocate to company HQ in Pittsburgh PA with employer assistance.FPC - FORTUNE PERSONNEL CONSULTANTS - Orlando officeRelocation Assistance is provided for the right individual from US to Pittsburgh PA.
