The Department of Transportation, Office of the Deputy Secretary for Multimodal Transportation has an opportunity for you as an Administrative Officer 2 serving as the Manager for the Multimodal Deputates Budget and Procurement Section within the Multimodal Administrative Service Office. You will review, analyze, and develop policy and procedures for their section and assist the Director on Deputate wide policy development of program and operating procedures. Other responsibilities include managing and coordinating the budget and all complex procurements for the Deputate. This position reports to the Director of the Multimodal Administrative Services Office. DESCRIPTION OF WORKYou will be responsible for the preparation development, coordination and execution of multiple federal and state budgets for the Multimodal Deputate (over $2 billion). Other responsibilities include creating Business Warehouse (BW) reports, analyzing data and presenting detailed budgetary information to Division Chiefs, Bureau Directors and the Deputy Secretary; preparing re-budget requests for the Deputate and the Bureaus within the Multimodal Deputate; managing all appropriations for compliance and preparing regular projection reports for each Bureau and the Deputy Secretary; developing Deputate level analysis of reports, strategies, and recommendations for establishing and achieving fiscal goals and objectives; providing Bureau level analysis, reports, correspondence for Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF), Public Transportation Trust Fund (PTTF) and Aviation Restricted Accounts, Federal Block Grants and all other Federal and State Funds to each Bureau this position you will utilize various job-related systems and websites including, but not limited to: SAP, BW, ESS (SRM, FI), eMarketplace, CRPS, Treasury RTK, and the PA Supplier terested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment.Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 1-hour lunch.Eligible for an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) upon successful completion of probationary period.Telework: Employees may be eligible to work from home (telework) part time (50% over 2 weeks) after two months of employment and an overall satisfactory or higher rating on an interim employee performance review. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
