This role will participate in and support forecasting and budgeting processes specifically focused on understanding Gross to Net estimates and liabilities for existing and future products. In addition to key accounting deliverables, this role will also develop the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations of daily revenue reporting and supporting commercial management requests needed to properly evaluate product profitability .The Director of Revenue Accounting will manage a team with ownership of monthly and quarterly accounting processes for US revenues including delivering close results accurately and timely, supporting quarterly and annual audit requirements, promoting and maintaining a strong control environment and reporting to the Sr. Director of Revenue Accounting The Director of Revenue Accounting is a leadership position within the Accounting Department with a goal of developing team members and collaborating with our business partners in Accounting, Finance, Commercial Operations, Customer Administration, and Pricing. A successful candidate will have technical competence and experience in product revenue accounting and analytics, compliance and operational experience and team management.ResponsibilitiesSupport internal business requests for product performance analyticsOpportunities to participate in Finance & Accounting shared projectsSupport continuous improvement of the efficiency and accuracy of internal reporting measures including daily scorecard/flash, monthly/quarterly revenue analytics reporting, profitability reporting Support monthly receivables factoring activitiesDrive continuous development of tools to drive efficiency and promote scalability as it relates to issue identification and resolution in day to day operations of internal reportingExpand the use of and engagement in reporting tools to improve efficiencySupport external reporting requirements and audit requirementsResponsible for analysis of sales reserves - on-going and formalized month-end / quarter-end basis
