Were one global team 47,000 strong driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Job Summary/ResponsibilitiesWorking with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects in design and constructionActing as a primary point of contact with clientReviewing and negotiating contracts and preparing fee proposalsDelivering positive financial metrics including as sold profit, billings, and collection managementManaging and leading teams and staff assigned for United States Federal design and construction administration projectsSuccessfully developing strategy, mitigation efforts, proposals, contract review, and leading project teams to execute projectsManaging and leading all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using established processes and toolsManaging teams across business linesManaging subconsultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performanceCoordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the execution of projectsEnsuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetAssisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsuring resource availability and allocationDeveloping and monitoring a detailed project plan to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely mannerManaging changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize riskMeasuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReporting and escalating to management as neededManaging the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerforming risk management to minimize project risksMaintaining project documentation controlDelegating project tasks based on junior staff members'' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levelsMinimum RequirementsBachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management plus six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is requiredPreferred QualificationsProfessional Registration in Architecture or Engineering related to building construction10+ years of progressively responsible experience in Architecture or Engineering leading multidisciplinary teams on project deliverables (e.g., technical reports, studies, construction documents)Experience in developing scope, fee, and terms for proposals and change orders for interdisciplinary teams related to building design and engineering.Experience in implementing design quality assurance and quality control activitiesAbility to interact regularly and professionally with senior management and technical staff in other offices on business development and project execution issuesDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesFederal Department of Defense (DoD) and/or VA experience (desired)Proven organizational skills with a proven track record in client satisfaction while meeting deliverables and deadline requirementsInternally driven, self-starter, team orientatedExperience working on or managing contractsProject Management Professional certification (PMP)ProjectAdditional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorizationOffered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work locationThe the salary range is $100,000-115,000Valid Driver''s License requiredAECOM is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
