Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain software for a web application data portal in collaboration with the Data Science and Automated Trading teams.Write high-quality code to meet the needs of our users.Provide documentation and unit tests for new code.Participate in team meetings and effectively communicate project development goals and timelines.Be responsible for front-end application architecture that is adaptive and resilient to changing requests.Ensure the app is testable, maintainable, and performant.Required Experience and Skills:3+ years of experience with JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Node, NPM, React, etc.Heavily experienced with session management, security, presentation widgets, common API communications, and authentication protocols and tools.Experience interfacing with databases such as SQL and AzureSQL.Experience in developing complex data visualization tools (e.g. such as line graphs).Experience with creating user-friendly and attractive UIs.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Must be knowledgeable in utilizing source repositories (such as Git) to integrate new code.Must be able to effectively use an IDE and debugger.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience working with .Net (C), SQL, and Azure.Strong knowledge of container services such as Docker, Azure Container Services, or Kubernetes.Familiarity with Azure functions and microservices.Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
