Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) Full Time Permanent

Exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Medical Technologist in Ronceverte! Located on the Greenbriar river and less than two hours from Roanoke, VA and Charleston, WV. Must have completed a clinical rotation, performing tests in all areas of the lab at a hospital to qualify for a national certification as a Medical Technologist.POSITION TYPE: Medical TechnologistLOCATION: Ronceverte, WV JOB TYPE: Full-Time PermanentSKILLS REQUIRED: 1-2 of experience preferred. Works in collaboration with all other care disciplines to provide safe, efficient, and coordinated care for patients. Works under the guidance of the laboratory medical director and laboratory administrative director to provide clinical laboratory testing for patients of all ages and all patient types. Performs procedures including patient testing, operation and maintenance of clinical laboratory equipment and quality control procedures for all essential assays in the laboratory. CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE: ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent required Current State license EDUCATION: BS degree from an accredited college or university or state designation required. Degree must be in Medical Technology or one of the biological or chemical sciences.
