Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an innovative biotechnology startup in efforts to hire a Computational Toxicologist III. This is a direct hire opportunity, working remote.ResponsibilitiesSolving real-world chemical risk-assessment challenges by executing groundbreaking scientific research in PBPK modeling.Planning, designing, developing and applying PBPK and pharmacokinetic models, including IVIVE.Utilizing knowledge of bioinformatics, pharmacokinetics, biological models, data science and biostatistics in efforts to support human safety and risk assessment of chemicals and drugs.Developing computational pipelines for implementing dosimetry models in scientific programming languages such as R and python.RequirementsMS or PhD in scientific/engineering field.Minimum research experience of two years, post-graduate.Extensive experience developing, parameterizing and validating physiologically based PBPK modeling.Familiar with common simulation languages used in PBPK modeling such as; Berkeley Madonna, PKSim, GastroPlus, and/or Matlab.Proficiency using R, python, JavaScript and MySQL to solve computational challenges.
