He or She will be expected to have a firm understanding of the teams core technical capabilities and the needs of the markets major clients. The successful candidate should have existing, strong relationships with multiple targeted clients in his or her market and should have established contact with other potential, secondary clients that could be leveraged in the future. The role requires the successful candidate to engage both new and existing clients to solidify strong relationships and best position his or her team to build a stable and growing backlog. The successful candidate should have experience in project sorting to determine if a project should be bid or not bid based on an effective evaluation of the impactful variables. The role requires an understanding of account financials including reporting these results to the senior management.
