Come join the DMVA team, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position provides administrative and clerical support to the Clinical Services Manager and Assistant Clinical Services Manager (DON/ADON) in a veterans'' extended care facility, and is responsible for preparing and posting work schedules for the nursing department.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYIn compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, if you are selected for this position, you must show, at the time of hire, verification that you have received either a single-dose COVID-19 vaccination, or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination,unlessyou are exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination due to an ADA or religious accommodation. If you fail or refuse to show the required verification at the time of hire, and you have not received an exemption from the CMS vaccination requirements, your employment will be terminated. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title);or Graduation from high school;or An equivalent combination of experience and training Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.Preferred Qualifications (not required):Experience working in a long term or large healthcare facility.Experience performing nurse scheduling duties.Experience working with Microsoft Excel.Experience with the following tasks:Typing, data entry, filing, retrieving documents and shreddingAnswering, screening and forwarding telephone callsCreating work ordersUpdating and maintaining policy and procedure manualsProofreading completed materials for accuracyLegal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.A conditional offer of employment will require a medical exam and a drug screening.
