$1,000 Sign OnCNA: $13+ an hour - pay based on experienceHHA: $15+ an hour - pay based on experienceCNA''s receive paid training to obtain their HHA license after 60 days.Midland Care Thrive at Home provides one-on-one assistance to anyone who could use an extra hand to live at home safely. Thrive at Home aides provide patient care and home maintenance interventions to a variety of patients in their own environment.Midland Care Thrive at Home specializes in caring for individuals needing help with:* Bathing and dressing* Diabetic monitoring* Home exercise programs* Injections* Laundry and changing linens* Lifeline and medication dispensers* Light housekeeping* Meal preparation and cleanup* Medication setup and remindersEmployment Status: Full-time or Part-timeTypical Hours of Employment: Monday-Friday flexible hoursEmployment Location: Lawrence, KansasRequired Application Materials: Resume, Online ApplicationQualificationsRequired: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with willingness to enroll in HHA certification course within first 90 days of employment. HHA certifications obtained on or after July 1, 2017 must be Class A HHA certifications. Must possess a valid Kansas Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 21 years of age or older.Preferred: One year experience as a Home Health Aide preferred.Physical RequirementsMust be able to continuously sit, stand and walk, climb stairs, and remain in uncomfortable positions for prolonged periods of time. Must have visual acuity sufficient to continuously note changes in non-verbal communication of patients, families, and others. Must have hearing acuity sufficient to hear verbal instructions and communication from clients, respond to emergency alarms, and answer the telephone. Must be able to travel to and access patient homes where conditions may be adverse due to weather, environment, or patients lifestyles.
