Position Type: Technology/Computer TechnicianDate Posted: 8/8/2022Location: Technology DepartmentDate Available: ASAPClosing Date: 08/16/2022Computer Support Technician- Anticipated 12-month position (LAB&TA) Location: Technology Department Start Date: ASAP Salary: Ranges from $37,000 to $55,000 based on level of experience Requirements: Proven ability to identify, research and resolve PC and Chromebook technical problems, including repairs A+ Certification required, Google Apps and additional certifications strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate well with staff and students Experience working in an academic institution, K-12 education strongly preferred Ability to take initiative Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technology High school diploma required, technical school or college strongly preferred Valid current driver''s license and car for transportation Ability to lift over 25 pounds Responsibilities: Troubleshoots and repairs client devices with either ChromeOS, Windows, Android or iOS operating systems. Manages, troubleshoots and maintains district technology equipment including printers, projectors, video conferencing stations and classroom computers/Chromebooks. Troubleshoots and supports end user security such as multi-factor authentication, anti-virus, email security and file backups.
