Saw Operator

Staffmark is currently hiring an experienced Saw Operator to work for client located in Northwest Houston TX. Hours 8am-5pm Monday-Friday Position is Temp to Hire DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adjust saw settings according to cut sheet specifications Cut and inspect first piece according to cut sheet dimensions Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material and parts to manual machines Inspect parts with precision using measuring tools Test operation of machines periodically Fix issues that might occur during shift Operates a stamp and chamfer machine QUALIFICATIONS: Understand and follow verbal instructions Manufacturing experience 1 year (Preferred) Lift up to 50 pounds PHYSICAL DEMANDS OR WORK ENVIRONMENT: Continually required to stand Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items Continual exposure to outside weather conditions Frequent loud noise Click link to apply
