Lead Software Developer with Security Clearance

What You Will Be Doing As a member of the Event Engineering Team (EET), you will provide support to the DoD client in the design, implementation, and scheduling of test and exercise of cyberspace components of US military capabilities and platforms. Additional roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Enable event objectives and translating user requirements into tasks for the event team to execute. * Coordinate with the users to manage objectives and event scope * Lead the software development efforts for event environment design and implementation This is a great opportunity to leverage your technical skills and experience and lead the software development efforts tied to the event environment design and implementation! Minimum Qualifications: * Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance * 2 or more years of experience with cyber testing or training to include experience with defensive and offensive cyber tools and TTPs. * 2 or more years of systems administration experience. * 3 or more years of experience with software development and software engineering * Bachelor''s degree with a focus in computer science, or a focus in computer and information sciences, information technology, management information systems, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant computer science and software engineering topics. * Expert knowledge: software development to include agile software development practices; programming languages; operating systems; networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage). * Expert knowledge of PowerShell, bash scripting, python scripting, and C/C++ development. * Experience developing web applications using web development frameworks such as Django, Ruby on Rails, Flask, Angular, Bottle, jQuery, Meteor. * Knowledge of one or more continuous integration tools such as Jenkins. * Knowledge of infrastructure configuration automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc. * Knowledge of one or more of the following MySQL, MariaDB, mongoDB, Postgres SQL, or no SQL. * Knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP. Desired: * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. * Master''s degree with a focus in computer science, cyber security, information assurance, software engineering, or cyber operations. * 5 or more years'' experience developing cyber range tools, including deployment automation, configuration automation, monitoring, and traffic generation. * Expert knowledge of defensive and offensive cyber tools and TTP. * Experience working with platform development, end-users (operators), and system developers. * Extensive and varied experience designing realistic terrain, including global gray and target environments. * Expert knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP. * Experience developing user simulators, which generate network and application traffic to simulate realistic users. * Intermediate knowledge of software defined networking and network function virtualization (NFV). * Advanced knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMWare, Docker, HyperV, Xen, Kubernetes, etc. * Expertise in building out complex enterprise infrastructures using various operating systems and services (e.g., AD, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, VPN, email, databases, IIS, Apache, etc.) Equal Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran About Tyto AtheneTyto is an IT services and solutions company that provides mission-focused digital transformation to enhance the client experience and enable them to achieve desired outcomes.
