Overview / Job Responsibilities: At ACT 1, our people make the difference. As a Junior Acquisition Specialist, supporting the NATO SEASPARROW Project Offcie, you will be trusted to coordinate and assist NSPO staff with developing and drafting contract related procurement documentation for the acquisition of hardware, associated Research & Development, maintenance, and support. In this role, a typical day will include: * Providing program acquisition support to include all actions in awarding and managing contacts and documentation including Acquisition Strategy and Acquisition Plans. * Assisting in inputting all procurement requests into the automated Standard Procurement System (SPS). * Evaluating and proposing acquisition process improvements. * Conducting risk analysis to current and planned contracts and recommend mitigation to risks.
