Calling all Automotive Technicians with VA state inspectors license! If your primary focus is automotive maintenance, repairs and diagnostics, this is for you! You will diagnose and repair to specifications brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer system issues on most current makes and models of vehicles, both foreign and domestic. You may also be responsible for estimating. Explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals who may include other service writers/employees and/or customers on an as-needed basis. Learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.Qualifications:* Requirements: 2+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving, and repair experience Virginia State Inspector Licensed. At least 1 ASE within 1 year of hire, ASE Master Certified L1 (Automobile Advanced Engine Performance Specialist) with a focus on diagnostics a plus. Strong leadership skills a plus.
