Patient Transporter

Job Summary:Moves patients to and from clinical units and various diagnostic/treatment areas via a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed which may include patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, and other equipment. Coordinates patient transport activities in the facility as well as at the entrances. Responds to various alerts to prevent and assist with emergent situations.Education - Required:High School Diploma/GEDExperience - Required:Experience - Preferred:1 year Customer service experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:Ability to demonstrate the importance of and ability to provide a high level of customer service.Ability to display a compassionate, positive, and upbeat disposition in interactions with customers/patients.Ability to multi-task and take initiative.Certifications - Required:Health ServicesBCLS - Basic Life Support CPR-Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation within 180 Days
