Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $25.71/hr Maintenance Mechanics perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilitites in optimum operating condition. These activities include but are not limited to: Following all safety rules and practicesPerforming preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levelPerforming emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operationsAccurately using measurement and test equipmentPerforming electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as neededMaintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasksAccurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperworkMaintaining teamwork with other associatesPerforming other duties as assigned by supervisionIndividual must possess the following qualifications: Requires strong mechanical skills and aptitudeStrong troubleshooting skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well as part of a teamPreferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulicsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPost High School training preferredAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devicesWell-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experienceAbility to learn; and the abiity to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a teamCorrugated Industry Maintenance Experience preferredMust be willing to work OT including Saturdays as needed REM-04 WS-04 Schedule Shift start: 7:00AM Shift length: 0 hours Benefits Health, dental insurance - available after 60 days Paid time off 401(k) plan Qualifications Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) Must pass background check Can lift 50 lbs Must be at least 18+ years old Please apply online ahead of your phone screening: /job/Hazleton-Maintenance-Mechanic-PA-18202/864232300/Experience working in the operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.Must have basic mechanical skills, some electrical, welding.
