OverviewIn this product management role, the incumbent will be responsible for the launch of NPD as well as the maintenance of the existing business of the assigned product category (residential fixtures and commercial fixtures and fittings) for all brands (American Standard, GROHE and DXV)(Title: Leader, Product Launch & MOB, Fixtures) ResponsibilitiesSupport strategy & NPD leads, leveraging category expertise, to ensure new product launches achieve project goals for the assigned category for all brandsManage the development & commercialization of new products in the assigned product category, from Gate 2 through to Launch. This includes partnering with NPD to ensure a seamless transition and thereafter: lead SKU initiation for new items, and support the creation of activation materials including launch presentations As part of Retail PLR process, actively partner with NPD, Merchandising and Sales to recommend and inform best-in-class product for increased distribution. Gather competitive information to inform recommendationDrive initiatives (e.g., cost savings, compliance with regulations) that allow American Standard to realize growth and manufacturing efficiencies without sacrificing quality, or performance. Partner with Channel Marketing to communicate changes to the field on existing products.Partner with Merchandising on the annual SKU Rationalization Process; ultimately supporting implementation of all changesRespond to internal and external issues around existing and new products to satisfy expectations for all brands Qualifications5 years product marketing work experience. Experience within the building products industry (plumbing products a strong plus).
